Recently we were contracted to build an interactive mapping interface for contact data held in Proclaim.
Using off-the-shelf utilities it is possible to build a complete mapping interface using real-time data held in Proclaim. Open source routing and geocoding solutions were added to enhance mapping with ‘Nearest’ data and driving directions.
This project had two components:
- an interactive GUI mapping interface allowing case handlers to select Nearest entities based on live Proclaim data. Responsive design and optimised queries allow call handlers to interact in real-time with data whilst the client is on the phone with the handler.
- an API interface to provide a one-click self-service document creation from with Proclaim including a table of Nearest entities, driving distances, directions and a map all within an emailed PDF document.
